SAN FRANCISCO-Google seems to be getting ready to present the next generation of its Nexus tablets.
The presentation is likely to come at a 17 august event in San Francisco. Google Inc. sent invitations Wednesday to the media.
The event will be introduced by Sundar Pichai, a Google exclusive who oversees the company’s Android and Chrome operating systems, and will start at 12PM Eastern/9AM Pacific. An update of Google’s Android mobile operating system could also be on the table, given Pichai’s leadership of the Android brand, and Apple’s recent unveiling of iOS 7, a bold redesign of its own mobile OS.
Android was last efficient at a similar event a little under a year ago, with a notable development to touchscreen responsiveness.
